Jake Collier has been given a new opponent for his April 30th UFC booking.
With original opponent Justin Tafa out of his matchup against Collier, he has been replaced by veteran Andrei Arlovski. News of the new matchup was reported last week by Nolan King of MMA Junkie.
The fight has joined a “Fight Night” card that is set to take place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Arlovski is entering Saturday night on a three-fight winning streak – the longest run of wins he has been on since 2015. His last fight was in February, where he worked toward a split decision victory over Jared Vanderaa.
Collier is also coming off a win, submitting Chase Sherman in the first round of a fight in January. If he can win against Arlovski later this month, it will be the first time that he has put together two consecutive victories since joining the UFC roster in 2014.
It is not known why Tafa withdrew from his fight against Collier, nor is it known when we could see him again.
