The Nevada State Athletic Commission has handed UFC fighter Miles Johns a six-month suspension for a recent drug test that found Adderall in his system.
News of the suspension was reported earlier this week by Damon Martin of MMA Fighting.
Johns’ suspension stems from a drug test he took around his February 5th submission loss against John Castaneda. The result of the fight will not change since Johns lost – if it were a draw or a win for Johns, the result would have been overturned to a no contest.
Johns is suspended from competing within the state of Nevada until August 5th. Along with this, he will also pay a fine of over $3,000 and pay over $500 in lawyer fees.
