Middleweights Abdul Razak Alhassan and Jamie Pickett have been paired for UFC’s July 9th show.
The matchup, which was first reported by Matthew Wells and Nolan King of MMA Junkie, is scheduled to join a card that doesn’t have a confirmed location at the moment.
Alhassan and Pickett will be fighting to return to the win column. They both appeared on a card in February earlier this year, and were unsuccessful in their appearances.
Alhassan fought Joaquin Buckley, who pulled off a split decision victory over him. The fight marked Alhassan’s fourth loss in his past five fights since returning in 2020.
Pickett had a two-fight winning streak broken in his last appearance, getting submitted in the third round with a darce choke from Kyle Daukaus.
Still months away, UFC’s July 9th card doesn’t have a main event known for it currently. Here are the few bouts reported for the event thus far.
