Strawweights Cheyanne Vlismas and Tabatha Ricci have been paired up for UFC’s October 1st card, as first reported by Alex Behunin of Cageside Press.
The fight is joining a card that doesn’t have a set location currently.
Vlismas and Ricci are crossing paths after having oddly similar starts to their UFC runs. They both lost their promotional debut, but have since bounced back by scoring two wins each.
Vlismas’ run included a quick finish win last year, notably stopping Gloria de Paula in just 60 seconds with strikes. Her last fight was in late 2021 when she defeated Mallory Martin on scorecards.
Ricci’s second UFC win came just a few weeks ago, as she worked toward a decision win against Polyana Viana in May. The former LFA standout also previously succeeded in a showing last year against Maria Oliveira.
