Another former Cage Warriors champion can be expected to compete when UFC returns to the O2 Arena in London, England later this year.
Nathaniel Wood is scheduled to face Charles Rosa at the promotion’s July 23rd card, per reporter Al Zullino.
The fight will mark Wood’s UFC debut at featherweight after previously competing in their bantamweight division. The ex-bantamweight Cage Warriors titleholder will be appearing for the first time in more than a year.
Wood last fought at UFC 254 in October 2020. On that card, he suffered a unanimous decision loss against Casey Kenney.
Wood has been booked for a few bouts since then, although they have all fallen through for various reasons.
Rosa will be fighting to snap a two-fight skid for the first time in his career. He took his second consecutive loss earlier this year, dropping a decision to TJ Brown.
