UFC has paired up flyweights Priscila Cachoeira and Ariane Lipski for their August 6th card, per a report from Alexander K. Lee of MMA Fighting.
The matchup is joining a “Fight Night” event that is scheduled to take place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Cachoeira is coming off a recent “Fight of the Night” victory over Kim Ji-yeon. The February matchup saw Cachoeira prevail in a hectic striking battle via unanimous decision.
The bout also put Cachoeira back into the win column after suffering a submission loss against Gillian Robertson late last year.
Lipski will be making her first appearance in nearly a year with this booking. She snapped a two-fight skid in her last appearance, handing UFC newcomer Mandy Bohm her first pro loss.
Lipski was previously booked to face JJ Aldrich this year, although that fight ended up not happening.
