Another injury has sidelined UFC middleweight Darren Till.
Till has reportedly withdrawn from his July 23rd fight against Jack Hermansson due to an undisclosed injury, per Marc Raimondi of ESPN.
The fight was scheduled to serve as the co-main event for UFC’s upcoming card at the O2 Arena in London, England.
The recent news marks the fifth time that Till has been pulled from a fight since 2020. He was notably also booked to face Hermansson in late 2020, but an injury took him out of that bout as well.
Till’s last appearance was a submission loss against Derek Brunson in September 2021.
Hermansson will remain on the card, now being paired against surging middleweight Chris Curtis.
Curtis has already picked up three wins since joining the UFC roster in November 2021. His last appearance saw him go three rounds against Rodolfo Vieira for a unanimous decision victory last month.
Now with a new opponent lined up for him, Hermansson will be fighting to bounce back from a recent loss. He suffered defeat in the main event of a card in February, losing a split decision against Sean Strickland.
