Joaquin Buckley will look to keep his current momentum going when he faces Nassourdine Imavov at UFC’s September 3rd event.
The bout, which was announced by the promotion this week, is joining a card that is expected to take place at the Accor Arena in Paris, France.
Buckley’s UFC run has been a strong five wins and two losses since first coming on board in 2020. He is currently on a three-fight winning streak, with two of those bouts coming via finish.
Buckley scored his most recent victory just last month, beating Albert Duraev via doctor stoppage. He has the chance to already score his third win of the year when he appears in September.
Imavov has also put together a solid three wins and one loss in the UFC. He earned a finish victory in his last fight, stopping Edmen Shahbazyan with ground and pound strikes at UFC 268 last year.
Imavov was previously booked to face Kelvin Gastelum this year, although that fight ended up not happening.
Heavyweights Ciryl Gane and Tai Tuivasa are currently scheduled to headline UFC’s debut event in France. Here is how the card looks now:
Bout 5: Ciryl Gane (10-1) vs. Tai Tuivasa (15-3) (Heavyweight)
Bout 4: Jessica Andrade (23-9) vs. Manon Fiorot (9-1) (Flyweight)
