Bantamweight Tony Kelley is no longer on the UFC roster.
The promotion reportedly parted ways with Kelley recently, per Guilherme Cruz of MMA Fighting.
Kelley’s departure from the UFC roster comes after a recent finish loss. He had a two-fight winning streak snapped just last month, suffering a first-round knockout loss to Adrian Yanez.
Kelley, 35, was criticized by many earlier this year for comments about fighter Viviane Araujo. While cornering UFC fighter Andrea Lee, Kelley commented on Araujo committing a foul by saying “They’re dirty f****** Brazilians. They’re going to f****** cheat like that.”
Kelley later denied that what he said had any “racist connotations.”
Kelley’s UFC run ends with a record of two wins and two losses. His pro record overall is eight victories through 11 appearances.
