Neil Magny vs. Daniel Rodriguez Moved To November 5th UFC Card

A welterweight fight between Neil Magny and Daniel Rodriguez is still expected to happen, just a little later than first planned. The bout, which was first booked for October 15th, is now expected to take place at UFC’s November 5th card, as announced by the promotion Friday.

The fight is joining a card that is expected to take place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Rodriguez announced earlier this week on social media that an elbow infection stopped him from competing in mid-October.

The new booking is still a quick turnaround for Rodriguez. His last fight was in early September when he scored a split decision victory over short-notice opponent Li Jingliang.

The win in September was Rodriguez’s fourth consecutive win in the UFC, with previous appearances all coming in 2021.

The booking will give Magny a chance to return to the win column. His last bout was a second-round submission loss against undefeated prospect Shavkat Rakhmonov.

Featherweight prospects Bryce Mitchell and Movsar Evloev are expected to headline UFC’s November 5th show. Here is how the lineup looks currently:

Bout 11: Bryce Mitchell (15-0) vs. Movsar Evloev (16-0) (Featherweight)
