Uriah Hall might be retired from MMA, but he’s not entirely done with combat sports.
Hall has been booked to face former NFL player Le’Veon Bell in a boxing bout. The matchup is expected to be part of the October 29th card headlined by Anderson Silva and Jake Paul, as announced Thursday.
The fight is joining a card that will take place at the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona, USA.
Hall will be making his first appearance as a boxer in this bout. The booking also marks his first appearance since ending his 19-fight UFC run and announcing his retirement from MMA.
Hall declared the end of his MMA career in August, two months after suffering a decision loss to Andre Muniz at UFC 276.
Bell, a long-time running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers, will be appearing as a boxer for the second time. He won his debut in September, scoring a fifth-round stoppage against 14-year NFL veteran Adrian Peterson.
The fight will be held at a weight limit of 195 pounds, which is just nine pounds above what Hall competed at during his UFC stint.
