Invicta FC will hold a four-woman one-night tournament next month to find their next champion at strawweight.
The bracket will be the main focus of Invicta FC 50 on November 16th from the Reelworks in Denver, Colorado, USA, per an announcement made Thursday.
The tournament will see Valesca Machado, Gloria de Paula, Ediana Silva and Karolina Wojcik compete up to twice in one night to earn the belt. The specific matchups for the semi-finals of the bracket will be drawn during fight week.
The title was recently vacated by Emily Ducote earlier this year when she joined the UFC roster.
De Paula will be making her first appearance since a brief UFC run. She had a four-fight run with the promotion from 2021 to 2022, winning just one of those fights before departing the roster.
Wojcik will be making her Invicta FC debut when she competes in the tournament. She is coming off a strong run in high-level bouts, including a pair of wins in KSW and a victory in the most recent season of “Dana White’s Contender Series.”
Silva, a Brazilian prospect, is joining the bracket with a seven-fight winning streak currently in progress. Her last victory was on an LFA card in July, when she beat Amanda Torres on scorecards.
Machado is making a tournament appearance after winning her Invicta FC debut over Liz Tracy in September.
Two Reserve Bouts Booked As Well
The tournament will also have two reserve bouts scheduled to take place earlier in the evening.
Undefeated Fatima Kline will search for her third pro victory in the first of two reserve bouts, meeting five-time Bellator fighter Danni McCormack in a bout.
Also, Sharon Jacobson will compete for the first time since 2019 when she meets multi-combat sport athlete Melissa Oddessa Parker in a reserve fight.
