18-Year-Old Paul Rosas Jr. To Make UFC Debut Against Jay Perrin In December

18-year-old Paul Rosas Jr. will make his UFC debut later this year, facing Jay Perrin at the promotion’s December 10th pay-per-view event.

The bantamweight fight will go down at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, per an announcement by Iridium Sports Agency.

Rosas Jr. had an incredibly quick rise in the sport, finding himself in MMA’s top promotion just a year after he debuted.

The bantamweight first debuted in November 2021 on the regional scene. After scoring five straight victories via finish, he got the call to compete on the UFC TV show “Dana White’s Contender Series.”

Rosas Jr. prevailed in that big test, beating Mando Gutierrez via unanimous decision. He was offered a UFC contract following the victory in September.

Facing a rising prospect, Perrin will be looking for his first UFC victory. He has come up short in both of his fights this year, losing decisions to Mario Bautista and Aoriqileng.

UFC 282 is now a busy 15 fights in total. UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jan Blachowicz will face Glover Teixeira for the second time in the main event of the card. Here’s how the show looks:
