Two Fights Join February 4th UFC ‘Fight Night’ In Korea

UFC has been quickly throwing together matchups for their return to Seoul, South Korea on February 4th. Here are two more fights that have joined their upcoming card.

Choi Set To Return Against Nelson

Korean UFC talent Choi Doo-ho is expected to end his long break from competition in February against Kyle Nelson, per a report from John Hyon Ko of TheAllStar.

Choi has been out of action since late 2019. He was originally scheduled to make his return in July 2021 against Danny Chavez, but then became sidelined due to an injury.

Choi will be coming back with high stakes in his fight. The 31-year-old will look to snap a three-fight skid and score his first win since 2016. His last fight saw him suffer a finish loss against Charles Jourdain.

The fight also gives Nelson a chance to get back into the win column. His UFC run has been an unsuccessful one win and four losses since 2018, including a decision defeat against Jai Herbert in July this year.

Lookboonmee vs. Reed Booked

Strawweights Loma Lookboonmee and Elise Reed have been matched up for next year, per Farah Hannoun and Nolan King of MMA Junkie.

Lookboonmee will be aiming to ride the momentum of a decision victory that she earned over Denise Gomes in September.

Reed currently holds an even two wins and two losses in the UFC. This fight gives her a chance to earn a second consecutive win for the first time since joining the promotion.

Reed’s last victory saw her spoil the UFC of Melissa Martinez, handing the prospect her first pro loss in a unanimous decision result in September.
