Rafael Fiziev Steps In To Face Marc Diakiese on UFC’s July 18th Show

After Alan Patrick had to exit his matchup with Marc Diakiese on July 18th, Rafael Fiziev will be taking his place. Per a report from MMAPlay365, the lightweight matchup has been put on the card in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.

Fiziev’s last fight was in October, getting a scorecard win over Alex White. Early in his MMA career with a 7-1 MMA record, Fiziev has went 1-1 in the UFC so far.

With a new opponent, Diakiese will look to extend his winning streak to three, including previous wins over Joe Duffy and Lando Vannata.

UFC’s July 18th event is one of the few scheduled for “Fight Island.” Headling this specific card is a vacant UFC Flyweight Championship bout between Deiveson Figueiredo and Joseph Benavidez. Here’s the full card so far.
