Right off the bat it was clear Roberts had a significant height advantage. Miller caught a leg kick early that made Roberts fall on his back. Miller took full guard in top position after. Miller went into half guard. Roberts escaped the position, putting Miller on his back. In the process, Roberts got caught in an armbar that made him tap out.

RESULT: Jim Miller def. Roosevelt Roberts via Submission, Armbar (RD 1, 2:25)
