In a double debut bout, former Cage Warriors Light Heavyweight Champion Modestas Bukauskas fought Andreas Michailidis on the prelims of UFC’s show on Wednesday. The fight went like this.
Bout 4: Modestas Bukauskas (10-2) vs. Andreas Michailidis (12-3) (Light Heavyweight)
The fighters traded low kicks early on in the fight. The fighters traded punches in a long stand-up battle on the feet. Michailidis was landing the harder punches throughout. He scored with a hard two-punch combination in the final minute. Michailidis shot for a takedown near the end of the round, not being able to get it before time ran out. Bukauskaus landed some elbows while defending the takedown. One elbow landed after the horn. The referee called off the fight after Michailidis took a long time to get up.
