Undefeated Lerone Murphy faced Ricardo Ramos on the prelims of UFC’s show on Saturday. Here’s how the three-round fight went.
Bout 5: Ricardo Ramos (14-2) vs. Lerone Murphy (8-0-1) (Featherweight)
Ramos got on the back of Murphy on the feet early on. They separated from the clinch with three minutes to go. Ramos was able to reverse a takedown on the way down, getting on the back of Murphy with two minutes to go. Murphy escaped the position and got back to the feet in a clinch. Murphy got a takedown in the fourth minute. He landed some punches from top position that were connecting hard. He continued with the hard hooks from on top until the referee stepped in.
RESULT: Lerone Murphy def. Ricardo Ramos via TKO, Strikes (RD 1, 4:18)
