The UFC is looking to add a welterweight fight between Robbie Lawler and Mike Perry to their UFC 255, per a report from Alexander K. Lee, Mike Heck and Damon Martin of MMA Fighting.
If the fight gets booked, Lawler will attempt to snap a four-fight streak of losses with the appearance. He last fought in late August, dropping a decision to Neil Magny.
Perry’s last fight ended a two-fight skid, defeating Mickey Gall via decision last June. He had previously dropped fights to Vicente Luque and Geoff Neal.
Perry found himself in the public eye a month after his win, as video surfaced of the fighter getting into a physical altercation at a bar in Lubbock, Texas, USA.
Should the fight get added to the UFC 255 card, the show will have eight fights in total lined up for it.
The show is currently scheduled to have back-to-back championship bouts, as both UFC Flyweight Champions will defend their belts on the card. Here’s the lineup as it stands.
