Bellator unveiled their full card for Bellator 247 on Thursday, a 14-fight card which is set to be the promotion’s debut on the CBS Sports Network. Bellator 247 is set to take place from the Allianz Cloud in Milan, Italy on October 1st.
The card is headlined by a welterweight bout between Paul Daley and Derek Anderson.
Daley and Anderson have both been notable names within Bellator’s welterweight division for a while now. A win for Anderson would be his third-in-a-row, making it the longest streak since his entrance into the promotion in 2013.
His last fight was in October of 2019, getting a decision victory over Guilherme Bomba.
Daley will also chase his third-straight win following 2019 wins over Erick Silva and Saad Awad respectively.
Norbert Novenyi Jr. vs. Laid Zerhouni
The co-main event of the evening will see the return of undefeated fighter Norbert Novenyi Jr., as he is matched against Laid Zerhouni. Novenyi Jr. has remained perfect through his four-fight career as a pro, with three of those wins in Bellator.
His last win was just under a year ago, defeating Will Fleury in September of 2019 via decision.
The fight will be Zerhouni’s debut in Bellator. His last fight was in December, stopping Souhaib Dahmani in the first round via rear naked choke.
Denise Kielhotlz vs. Kate Jackson
Returning after a loss to Bellator Flyweight Champion Ilima-Lei Macfarlane, Kate Jackson will return to action in October when she faces Denise Kielholtz.
Prior to her loss last December, Jackson had wins in Bellator over Anastasia Yankova and Lena Ovchynnikova.
Kielholtz carries a three-fight streak of wins into the fight, all finishes. The most recent of the trio was last February, where she stopped Kristina Williams with a rear naked choke.
Ilias Bulaid vs. Ivan Naccari
Opening the four-fight card is a matchup between Ilias Bulaid and Ivan Naccari. Bulaid, a former K-1 Japan kickboxer, has won his first two MMA fights under the Bellator banner. His last fight was in February, getting a decision win over Diego Freitas.
Naccari’s sole MMA fight was a loss last January to Hovik Zakarian. He has a background in kickboxing.
