Bellator prospect Aaron Pico is scheduled to return on November 12th, being matched against John de Jesus for Bellator 251. Per Brett Okamoto of ESPN, both parties have verbally agreed to the bout.
The fight is planned to take place at Bellator’s hub venue in the United States, the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, USA.
Pico last competed in July, stopping Solo Hatley Jr. in the first round with a rear naked choke. The win was his second of 2020.
De Jesus had a strong Bellator debut in August, picking up a decision victory against Vladyslav Parubchenko. He has a much more experienced MMA career than Pico, with 21 fights in total.
The fight is the second one planned for Bellator’s November 12th date. The other fight, the headliner for the card, sees Bellator Featherweight Champion Patricio Pitbull face Pedro Carvalho.
