Overeem vs. Volkov Headliner Among Fights Announced For February 6th UFC Card

A heavyweight fight between Alistair Overeem and Alexander Volkov will  serve as the headliner for a February 6th UFC card, per a report from Brett Okamoto of ESPN. The location of the fight is not known currently.

Overeem has won two main event fights in 2020. The MMA veteran returned in May, defeating Walt Harris in the second round with strikes. His last fight was in September, stopping Augusto Sakai in the fifth round with ground and pound.

Volkov has fought twice in 2020, producing a win and a loss in the fights. His last fight was in October, where he stopped Walt Harris in the second round with punches.

Volkov lost a main event fight in June, losing a decision to Curtis Blaydes.

Marion Reneau vs. Macy Chiasson

A fight between Marion Reneau and Macy Chiasson was also reported for the card on Friday. Per Matt Erickson and John Morgan of MMA Junkie, the fight will be part of the card.

Reneau will aim to snap a three-fight losing streak with the bout. Her last three fights, all decisions, have been losses to Cat Zingano, Yana Kunitskaya and Raquel Pennington.

The fight will be Chiasson’s return after a year off from action. Her last fight was in February, defeating Shanna Young via decision. She bounced back from her first loss as a pro, losing to Lina Lansberg in 2019.

Bout 3: Nicco Montano (4-3) vs. Karol Rosa (13-3) (Bantamweight)

Bout 1: Marion Reneau (9-6-1) vs. Macy Chiasson (6-1) (Bantamweight)
