ONE Championship has announced their next live broadcast for December 4th, presenting “Big Bang.” The six-fight card sees light heavyweights in the main event was Roman Krykla faces Mura Aygun in a kickboxing bout.
Along with their live December 4th show, ONE will air a pre-taped “Big Bang II” card on the 11th. The lineup for that show is not known currently.
The show will take place from the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore.
Kickboxers Kryklia and Aygun To Headline ‘Big Bang’
The main event will see ONE Kickboxing Light Heavyweight Champion (225 lbs) Roman Kryklia return against Murat Aygun.
Krykla won his ONE debut in 2019, defeating Tarik Khbabez to claim a kickboxing belt. He enters ONE with eight-straight wins in other kickboxing promotions including Kunlun Fight.
The fight will be the ONE debut of Aygun.
Undefeated Tonon To Face Matushima
MMA will be in the co-main event of the card, as Koyomi Matsushima will fight undefeated Garry Tonon.
Tonon has competed as a pro since 2018 with all of his fights being for ONE. Still undefeated through five fights, Tonon has finished all of his opponents on the ground.
Matsushima won his last fight, stopping Jae Woong Kim in the third round with punches. The win was a bounce-back from a championship loss in August to Martin Nguyen.
Former GLORY Champ Grigorian To Face Kondratiev
Former GLORY Kickboxing Champion Marat Grigorian will make his ONE debut on the card, fighting Ivan Kondratiev in the fourth bout of the evening.
Grigorian earned a belt before his departure from GLORY. Defeating Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong in 2019, Grigorian won the GLORY Lightweight Championship. He defended it twice before moving to ONE.
Like Grigorian, the fight will be Kondratiev’s debut in ONE.
Akhmetov To Face Kingad
Kairat Akhmetov and Danny Kingad will compete on the card as well. The bout joins the card after an original booking between the two for August was scrapped due to an injury on Akhmetov’s part.
Having fought in ONE since 2015, Akhmetov is now on a two-fight win streak in the promotion for the first time of his career. He last competed in early 2019, where he defeated Reece McLaren via decision.
After losing to Demetrious Johnson in the grand final of a tournament in 2019, Kingad bounced back in January with a victory over Xie Wei via decision.
Abasov and Aliakbari To Make Respective ONE Debut
Rising heavyweights Amir Aliakbari and Islam Abasov will make their first appearance for ONE on the card.
Aliakbari competed for ACA and RIZIN in his last five fights, winning all of his bouts. More than half of his fights have been stopped within a round.
Abasov is undefeated as a pro through six fights. His last bout was in October of 2019, where he stopped Ednaldo Oliveira within a minute.
Phogat Looks For Third 2020 Win, Facing Torres
Aiming to earn her third-straight victory in 2020, Ritu Phogat will fight Jomary Torres to kick off the card. Phogat’s two previous 2020 wins come over Wu Chaio Chen and Nou Srey Pov.
Torres has been winless in her last five fights. A four-fight losing streak was interrupted in January, as a fight against Jenny Huang ended in a no-contest due to a low blow.
