LFA Announces Championship Main Events For February 12th and 19th Cards

2/3/21 CORRECTION: A previous version of the article incorrectly claimed that LFA 100 is on February 18th. The date has been corrected to February 19th.

LFA has announced their next two events will be next month, taking place on February 12th and 19th. The events will include two championship bouts and a celebration of the promotion’s 100th numbered event.

Both shows are scheduled to be held at the Hartman Arena in Park City, Kansas, USA.

LFA 99: Myron Dennis and Fabio Cherant Compete For Vacant Light Heavyweight Belt

LFA’s February 12th card, LFA 99, will be headlined by light heavyweights attempting to earn a championship. Competing for a vacant belt will be Myron Davis and Fabio Cherant.

Davis enters the fight after a three-fight win streak from 2019 to 2020. Most recent out of the three wins was a split decision victory against Dylan Potter at LFA 95 in the Fall.

Cherant finds himself in the main event after a successful 2020. Cherant’s year kicked off with a one-minute fight, as he defeated Erick Murray Jr. in July with an anaconda choke. He returned three months later, where he won against Yu Ji on a CES card.

The co-main event of the card will see rising lightweights Brant Moore and Ago Huskic compete. Moore will look for his seventh consecutive victory as a pro. Three in the streak came from LFA wins. Huskic will be making his LFA debut following a three-fight win streak from the past two years.

LFA 100: Flyweights Victor Altamirano and Carlos Mota Compete For Belt

Undefeated flyweight Carlos Mota will compete for a belt at LFA 100, fighting Victor Altamirano in the main event.

Mota had a successful LFA debut in 2019 where a body kick took his opponent George Martinez out of the fight in under a minute. Prior to then, Mota had four-straight wins from 2016 to 2017.

Altamirano will look to continue the success he has had in LFA. Altamirano has competed for most of his career in LFA, putting together eight wins in the promotion.

Altamirano took his first loss as a pro in 2019 against former UFC fighter Jarred Brooks, but has since bounced back with two wins.

Anthony Adams and Gregory Rodrigues will compete in the co-main event of the show. The fight is part of LFA’s four-man middleweight tournament. The winner will face Josh Fremd in the grand finals of the bracket.

Here are the announced lineups for both shows.
