DEEP Impact has announced a series of fights for an event on March 13th titled “DEEP Tokyo Impact 2021.” The card currently includes eight fights and is scheduled to happen at Shinjuku FACE in Tokyo, Japan.
Undefeated featherweight rookie Naoki Hirata is expected to face Kyosuke Yokoyama at the event. The fight will be Hirata’s third since making a pro debut in October.
Yokoyama will be looking for his third consecutive win after picking up two wins in recent years.
Another bout on the card will see Rui Kato face Ryosuke Honda in a two-round bout.
Honda will be making the crossover from Shooto Japan after competing for the fellow regional promotion for four years. He ended his stint in Shooto Japan with three straight wins through 2019 and 2020.
Kato will be returning after earning his first win as a pro in November.
The card also includes returning undefeated fighters like Ryota Oki and Kenyaski along with debuting talent such as Genta Nemoto.
DEEP Tokyo Impact 2021 is set to happen in the evening following an amateur event earlier in the day.
