Omar Morales Booked To Fight Shane Young At UFC 260

Omar Morales will look to bounce back from his sole pro loss when he faces Shane Young at UFC 260. The featherweight bout was confirmed by Christopher Reive of NZHerald earlier in the week.

The fight joins a March 27th pay-per-view event that is expected to happen at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Morales was given his first pro loss in 2020, as he lost a decision to fellow rising 145-pound fighter Giga Chikadze. Morales had earned two UFC wins in his 10-fight career before being given a loss for the first time last year.

Young will also be returning after losing in his last outing. The New Zealand-based fighter was finished for the first time in his career in September, as Ludovit Klein caught him in the second minute of their bout with punches.

The featherweight matchup joins a UFC card that has heavyweight champ Stipe Miocic in the main event against Francis Ngannou. Here is the updated lineup.
