UFC’s February 27th event has received a short-notice addition, as a strawweight bout between Angela Hill and Ashley Yoder has been booked for the lineup. The bout was announced during UFC’s “Fight Night” broadcast on Saturday.
The bout is scheduled to take place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Hill will attempt to break a two-fight losing streak that she developed last year. Hill had her first UFC main event fight in September, as she fought for five rounds against Michelle Waterson before losing a close split decision.
Hill was meant to fight Tecia Torres at UFC 256 in December, however, that fight was cancelled after she tested positive for COVID-19.
Yoder snapped a two-fight skid in her last bout, as she defeated Miranda Granger in a unanimous decision back in November.
Heavyweights Jairzinho Rozenstruick and Ciryl Gane are currently scheduled to headline UFC’s February 27th card. Here is how the lineup looks at the moment.
