A positive COVID-19 test to Alonzo Menifield has forced him out of his February 27th UFC bout against William Knight. Nolan King and Mike Bohn of MMA Junkie reported the cancelled bout first.
The light heavyweight matchup was scheduled to happen during UFC’s preliminary card at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Per reports, the matchup has now been moved to UFC’s March 27th card.
Now with a new date, Menifield still has the goal of snapping a two-fight skid. His last loss was in September, where UFC veteran Ovince St. Preux stopped him with punches.
Knight will be returning after winning his UFC debut last year. The newcomer went to scorecards in September, handing Aleksa Camur his first pro loss.
