Former M-1 Champ Bruno Silva To Make UFC Debut Against Wellington Turman At June 19th Event

Former M-1 Middleweight Champion Bruno Silva will make his UFC debut on June 19th, fighting Wellington Turman at a “Fight Night” event. Guilherme Cruz of MMA Fighting confirmed the matchup on Sunday.

The fight joins a lineup that does not have a confirmed location at the moment.

Silva will be competing for the first time since 2018. His last fight saw him claim a belt in M-1 Global, defeating Artem Frolov with punches in the fourth round of their fight.

The 31-year-old enters the UFC on a four-fight win streak.

Turman will be attempting to bounce back from a 2020 loss. The fellow Brazilian was stopped in his sole fight last year, getting finished by Andrew Sanchez late in the first round.

Turman has since been booked for two other fights, although both have fallen through for various reasons.
