Attempting to return to the win column after both being on the receiving end of quick finishes, Abdul Razak Alhassan and Jacob Malkoun will meet in a middleweight bout at UFC’s April 17th card. The fight was confirmed by the UFC on Tuesday.
The fight joins a card that is scheduled to happen at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Alhassan has lost two bouts since making his return to action last year. After dropping a bout to Mounir Lazzez in his first fight back, Alhassan was stopped in only 30 seconds by Khaos Williams in November.
Alhassan is now looking to end a two-fight skid for the first time in his career. Alhassan is making the move up to middleweight after missing weight for his past two bouts at welterweight.
Similar to Alhassan, Malkoun is returning after losing a fight in under a minute last year. Malkoun made his UFC debut in October, although it only took Phillip Hawes 18 seconds to stop him with strikes. Prior to then, Malkoun was undefeated through four pro fights.
