Two matchups have recently joined UFC’s June 26th lineup, per reports. The location for the fights has not been confirmed as of yet.
Moicano and Herbert Look To Return Following Stoppage Losses
Both attempting to bounce back from stoppage losses, Renato Moicano and Jai Herbert will meet in June. News of the matchup was first broken by Guilherme Cruz and Damon Martin of MMA Fighting.
Herbert, a former Cage Warriors Lightweight Champion, had his UFC debut spoiled by Francisco Trinaldo last year. The UFC veteran stopped Herbert in the third round with strikes, handing him his first loss in seven appearances.
Moicano was finished within a round late last year, getting caught with punches by Rafael Fiziev. The loss was Moicano’s third in his last five fights.
Welterweights Alves and Emeev Matched
170-pound fighters Warlley Alves and Ramazan Emeev will meet on the card, as first reported by Nolan King and Farah Hannoun of MMA Junkie.
Alves won his return to the octagon in January, defeating Mounir Lazzez within a round with strikes. The fight was Alves’ first appearance in over a year.
Six-fight UFC vet Emeev will wager his two-fight win streak when facing Alves. Emmev has won on scorecards in his past two appearances, defeating Niklas Stolze and David Zawada.
