Bare-knuckle boxing promotion BKFC has continued their pursuit of MMA fighters willing to try out the sport with two new signings. The promotion recently unveiled the signing of Rachael Ostovich and Pearl Gonzalez, two flyweights who previously competed in the UFC.
Ostovich has been inactive from combat sports after finishing up her contract with the UFC late last year. The 30-year-old had her UFC run stopped in November of 2020, as a stoppage loss to Gina Mazany handed her a third consecutive loss.
A previous opponent of Ostovich in Paige VanZant is also currently under contract with BKFC. She lost her bare-knuckle boxing debut earlier this year, not getting the nod on scorecards against Britain Hart.
Gonzalez had a two-fight run in the UFC in 2017, losing to Cynthia Calvillo and Poliana Botelho. She has since become a regular in regional promotion Invicta FC, where she has earned four wins and two losses.
Gonzalez last competed in February of 2020, where she lost a decision to now-UFC fighter Miranda Maverick.
