Aliaskhab Khizriev Now Set To Make UFC Debut Against Alessio Di Chirico on August 28th

Aliaskhab Khizriev’s UFC debut is now set for a new date, as he will face Alessio Di Chirico at the promotion’s August 28th event, per a report from Guilherme Cruz and Mike Heck of MMA Fighting.

The fight joins a card that does not have a confirmed location at the moment.

Khizriev’s first UFC fight has been in the making for some time now. The middleweight has been booked for two previous fights this year, although they both later fallen off lineups for various reasons.

Undefeated through 13 fights, Khizriev is getting his UFC shot after submitting Henrique Shiguemoto within a minute on TV show “Dana White’s Contender Series” last year.

Di Chirico gets the booking after scoring a head kick knockout over Joaquin Buckley earlier this year. The victory snapped a three-fight skid for Di Chirico, also earning him his first victory since 2018.

Di Chirico was first set to return in June against Roman Dolidze, although he has since been pulled from that fight due to injury.
