Holly Holm To Return To Featherweight, Face Norma Dumont on October 16th

Former UFC champion Holly Holm will return to the featherweight division to face Norma Dumont on October 16th, per a report from Damon Martin and Guilherme Cruz of MMA Fighting.

The matchup is expected to join a UFC “Fight Night” card that does not have a confirmed location at the moment.

Holm has mostly competed at bantamweight but is no stranger to the 145-pound division. She has fought in the weight class three times since joining the UFC roster and was one-half of the inaugural fight for the division’s championship in 2017.

Holm is currently on a two-fight win streak which includes a five-round unanimous decision win she took against Irene Aldana last year.

Dumont has also won her last two fights. She defeated a former title challenger Felicia Spencer earlier this year, defeating her via split decision.
