Ricardo Ramos vs. Bill Algeo Re-Booked For UFC 267

Featherweights Zubaira Tukhugov and Ricardo Ramos are expected to meet at UFC’s October 30th pay-per-view event, per a report from Farah Hannoun and John Morgan of MMA Junkie.

The fight joins UFC 267, which is set to happen in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The news puts a previously attempted matchup back on the UFC schedule. The matchup was previously booked for a UFC lineup in March but was later removed after Tukhugov suffered an injury.

Tukhugov will be looking to bounce back from a loss he took to rising featherweight Hakeem Dawodu last year. Before then, he had scored a first-round stoppage win over Kevin Aguilar in early 2020.

Ramos has competed once since his first booking against Tukhugov fell through. He earned a decision win in May, defeating Bill Algeo on a “Fight Night” card.

Ramos currently has a UFC record of six wins and two losses.

UFC 267 is currently set to be headlined by bantamweight and light heavyweight title fights. Here is how the updated lineup looks:

Bout 8: Aljamain Sterling (20-3) vs. Petr Yan (15-2) (UFC Bantamweight Championship)

Bout 7: Jan Blachowicz (28-8) vs. Glover Teixeira (32-7) (UFC Light Heavyweight Championship)
