Tresean Gore Scores Stoppage Win, Secures Grand Final Spot on ‘The Ultimate Fighter’

The season finale of “The Ultimate Fighter” this week saw Tresean Gore pick up a finish win over Gilbert Urbina to secure a spot in the grand finals of the middleweight bracket.

Gore used his punches to hurt Urbina numerous times through two rounds and eventually finish him. He was able to drop him two times in the first round, including a left hook that landed in the first minute of the fight.

A combination of punches in the second round from Gore took Urbina down for the third time, causing an end to the bout.

Gore, an undefeated prospect with three pro wins, now has the chance to secure a UFC contract in his next win.

Gore fought two rounds earlier in the season to defeat Ryder Newman and advance to the semi-finals.

Grand Finals Set

The middleweight and bantamweight grand finals for “TUF” are set to happen at UFC’s August 28th “Fight Night” card from the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

This week’s winner, Gore, will take on Bryan Battle at middleweight.

The bantamweight tournament is scheduled to be between Ricky Turcios and Brady Hiestand.

The coaches for this season, UFC Featherweight Champion Alexander Volkanovski and Brian Ortega are scheduled to meet at UFC’s September 25th pay-per-view event.
