In what could be a must-win fight for either fighter, lightweights Khama Worthy and Jai Herbert will meet at UFC’s October 23rd “Fight Night” card.
The fight, which was first reported by Marcel Dorff of MMA DNA, joins a show that is set to take place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Both fighters have lost two consecutive bouts in the UFC.
Herbert has yet to pick up a win since entering the promotion. The former Cage Warriors Lightweight Champion has been finished in both his UFC appearances, getting stopped by Francisco Trinaldo and submitted by Renato Moicano.
Worthy started his UFC campaign with a strong two-fight winning streak, although he has suffered a first-round finish loss in his last two outings. He last appeared in March, when Jamie Mullarkey stopped him in just 46 seconds.
