Attempting to bounce back from a recent main event loss, Thiago Moises will face Joel Alvarez at UFC’s November 13th “Fight Night” card. The new matchup was confirmed by both fighters via social media recently.
The fight is expected to happen at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Moises made his UFC main event debut in July, going four rounds deep with Islam Makhachev before getting submitted with a rear naked choke. He had entered the bout on a three-fight winning streak from the year before, including wins over names like Bobby Green and Alexander Hernandez.
Alvarez is being paired against Moises following a strong trio of wins at lightweight. The 28-year-old has been out of the cage for a year, although his last couple of wins have been quick submissions. He most recently stopped Alexander Yakovlev in just three minutes, catching him with an armbar in October 2020.
Former UFC Featherweight Champion Max Holloway is expected to headline the promotion’s November 13th card, facing Yair Rodriguez in a five-round bout. Here is how the entire lineup looks at the moment.
