Flyweights Francisco Figueiredo and Daniel da Silva will both be fighting to return from a recent loss when paired for UFC’s April 30th event. Journalist Igor Melotto was the first to report the booking.
The matchup joins a show that doesn’t have a confirmed location at the moment.
Figueiredo joined the UFC roster in early last year. He won his first fight for the promotion in January 2021, defeating Jerome Rivera via unanimous decision.
Figueiredo suffered an upset loss in his second time around, dropping a bout on scorecards to Malcolm Gordon later in the year. He now returns to bounce back from that defeat in late April.
Da Silva had an unsuccessful promotional debut in October, suffering a second-round stoppage loss to Jeff Molina. He was entering the promotion after a strong run of three first-round finish wins on the regional scene.
The sole previous fight reported for UFC’s April 30th event is a bout between bantamweights Gina Mazany and Shanna Young.
