PFL Announces New Multi-Year Deal With ESPN, Announces Regular Season Launch Date

Upcoming PFL events will remain on the ESPN network.

The promotion announced a new multi-year deal with the sports network Tuesday, revealing that seven of their shows in 2022 will take place on the main TV channel ESPN.

The majority of the season will be broadcasted on ESPN, with other events taking place on the secondary channel ESPN2. All events are expected to be simulcasted through the online subscription service ESPN+ as well.

Along with the recent announcement, PFL also revealed that their 2022 season will begin on Wednesday, April 20th. In the weeks leading up to then, PFL will air a “Challenger Series” show through FuboTV. That show is scheduled to begin next month.

PFL has aired its last two seasons through the ESPN network. They first entered a deal with them in 2019, after showing their debut season on the NBC Sports Network. After not hosting events in 2020, PFL returned for their latest season in 2021, which included 10 events in total.
