All Charges Get Dismissed For Chael Sonnen Misdemeanor Battery Case

All of Chael Sonnen’s recent misdemeanor battery charges have reportedly been dropped in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. The charges stemmed from a December 2021 incident that saw him receive five citations from the police.

The Las Vegas Justice Court dismissed the charges on Thursday, per Marc Raimondi of ESPN.

Sonnen was given the charges last month after police responded to a call at a hotel in Las Vegas. While Sonnen was briefly detained at the scene, he was not arrested.

Sonnen is a notable MMA fighter that is most known for his time in UFC and Bellator. He announced his retirement in 2019 following a loss to Lyoto Machida.
