The first fight for UFC’s May 21st event has been booked. Featherweights Chase Hooper and Felipe Colares have been matched for the event, per Rodrigo Juarez of Combate.
The fight joins a card that doesn’t have a confirmed location at the moment.
Both featherweights will be fighting to return to the win column.
Hooper currently has an even UFC record of two wins and two losses. The 22-year-old took his most recent defeat in June, losing a decision to Steven Peterson at UFC 263.
Colares picked up a win and a loss in 2021. While he started the year with a decision victory against Luke Sanders, he later dropped a split decision to Chris Gutierrez.
