Featherweights Charles Jourdain and Lando Vannata will meet at UFC’s April 23rd “Fight Night” event, per Alex Behunin of Cageside Press.
The fight is set to take place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Jourdain had a dominant performance in his last outing, defeating Andre Ewell via unanimous decision in December. This put an end to his 2021 with a record of two wins and one loss.
Jourdain’s return to the cage was previously set to happen in January against undefeated prospect Ilia Topuria. That fight was later pulled from a card after Topuria had to withdraw from the fight.
Vannata is also coming off a win, defeating Mike Grundy via split decision in May 2021. A win in the upcoming fight would even his UFC record at five wins and five losses.
Former UFC Strawweight Champion Jessica Andrade will return to the 115-pound weight class in the main event of the April 23rd card, facing Amanda Lemos. Here’s the updated lineup:
