Bantamweight Zviad Lazishvili has been cut from the UFC roster after losing his debut last year and recently taking a suspension from the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), per Guilherme Cruz of MMA Fighting.
It was reported last week that USADA handed Lazishvili a 10-month suspension for an October 2021 drug test that showed prohibited substance clomiphene in his system.
The suspension was set to keep him out of competition until August 2022.
A month prior, Lazishvili was also given a nine-month suspension by the Nevada Athletic Commission along with a fine of just over $2,000.
Lazishvili lost his UFC debut in October 2021, dropping a unanimous decision to Jonathan Martinez. This debut came after Lazishvili picked up 12 wins as a pro and became the LFA Bantamweight Champion in 2020.
