Manon Fiorot To Face Jennifer Maia At March 26th UFC ‘Fight Night’

Manon Fiorot is back on the UFC schedule, now being booked to face Jennifer Maia at the promotion’s March 26th event. News of the matchup was confirmed Tuesday by Farah Hannoun and Nolan King of MMA Junkie.

The new fight joins a lineup that is set to happen at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, USA.

Fiorot was previously booked to fight at this weekend’s pay-per-view event against Jessica Eye. However, that booking was recently thrown out due to Eye suffering an injury.

Fiorot put together three consecutive wins in her rookie year with the UFC. Her last win came in October 2021, defeating Mayra Bueno Silva.

While Fiorot’s previous booking fell through, she now has another big step-up challenge ahead of her.

Maia, a former title challenger, will be looking to get back into the win column after suffering a decision loss to Katlyn Chookagian in January. Before then, she beat the aforementioned ranked flyweight Eye in a unanimous decision outcome.
