Report: Six More Fighters Depart UFC Roster

UFC’s roster has lost six more fighters as of late. Collin Anglin, Dakota Bush, Andre Ewell, Sean Soriano, Jordan Williams and David Zawada have all exited the promotion, per a report from Nolan King of MMA Junkie.

The report also highlighted nine names whose departure from the UFC roster has already been reported by Knockdown News. This includes Hunter Azure, Fabio Cherant, Alexis Davis, Danilo Marques, Jennifer Gonzalez, Dhiego Lima, Mallory Martin, Zviad Lazishvili, and Roxanne Modafferi.

Ewell had the longest UFC run of all recently reported departures. He first joined the promotion in 2018 and earned four wins through nine appearances. Ewell had a rough going in 2021, losing three consecutive fights.

The recent news marks the end of Soriano’s second UFC campaign. He re-joined the promotion in May 2021, stepping in to face Christos Giagos. His last fight was a decision loss to Shayilan in November 2021. Soriano’s combined UFC runs have resulted in going winless through five fights.

Anglin joined the UFC roster in 2020 after an impressive win on “Dana White’s Contender Series.” He is now off the roster after suffering two consecutive stoppage losses last year.

Bush entered the UFC last year on short notice, replacing Natan Levy in a fight against Austin Hubbard. Bush lost that fight then recently suffered a stoppage loss to Viacheslav Borshchev two months back, marking the end of his UFC run.

Williams lost three consecutive fights, including two first-round finish losses. His last fight was a defeat against undefeated prospect Ian Garry at UFC 268.

Zawada had a five-fight run from 2018 to 2021 resulting in one win and four losses.
