Jairzinho Rozenstruick, Alexander Volkov To Headline June 4th UFC Card

Ranked heavyweights Alexander Volkov and Jairzinho Rozenstruick are scheduled to headline UFC’s June 4th “Fight Night” card, per a report from Brett Okamoto of ESPN.

The fight is joining a card that doesn’t have a confirmed location currently.

Both names will be fighting to bounce back after taking a recent loss.

Volkov competed in the main event of a card just last month in London, England. He was submitted within a round by rising prospect Tom Aspinall, who caught him with a straight armlock.

Before then, Volkov had a decision victory over Marcin Tybura at UFC 267.

Rozenstruick’s last fight was a unanimous decision loss against Curtis Blaydes in September 2021. He finished the year with one win and two losses in the year, with the two earlier appearances from the year both being main event opportunities.

Here is how UFC’s June 4th event looks now that it has a main event in place:

Bout 5: Alexander Volkov (34-10) vs. Jairzinho Rozenstruick (12-3) (Heavyweight)

Bout 4: Dan Ige (15-5) vs. Movsar Evloev (15-0) (Featherweight)
