PFL will go overseas for part of their 2022 playoffs, per an announcement made by the promotion Tuesday.
The promotion unveiled the schedule for their playoff events this week, showing a diverse selection of locations.
In the first of three semi-final playoff shows, PFL will return to the Hulu Theatre (also known as the Madison Square Garden Theatre) in New York City, New York, USA. That August 5th show is scheduled to include men’s lightweights and light heavyweight fighters.
PFL has a history at that venue, notably hosting their 2018 and 2019 Grand Final events there.
A week later, PFL will head to the Cardiff Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff, Wales. On August 13th, featherweights and heavyweights will compete. It will mark the first time the promotion has ever gone overseas since its rebranding in 2018.
The semi-final portion of the playoffs will conclude on August 20th from the Copper Box Arena in London, England. On that night, welterweights and women’s lightweights will fight.
The fighters that will appear in PFL’s playoffs have yet to be confirmed. They hosted their first three regular season events earlier this year, and are planning to close it out with another trio of events in June and July.
