Alexa Grasso will attempt to keep her rise up the flyweight division going later this year when she faces Viviane Araujo. The 125-pound talents are expected to collide at UFC’s August 13th card, per a report from MMA Fight Universe.
The bout is joining a card that doesn’t have a confirmed location at the moment.
Grasso has strung together a trio of victories over the past two years. She scored her first UFC victory in her last appearance, submitting Joanne Wood in the first round with a rear naked choke in March.
She now meets Araujo, who is a tough test in the division. Araujo has been quite successful since beginning her UFC run, putting together five wins and two losses.
Araujo bounced back from a defeat in her last fight, securing a decision victory over Andrea Lee.
It was reported earlier this week that UFC is aiming to book a bantamweight fight between Marlon Vera and Dominick Cruz for their August 13th card. Here’s a projected lineup for the show:

Bout 3: Devin Clark (13-6) vs. Azamat Murzakanov (11-0) (Light Heavyweight)
Bout 2: Gerald Meerschaert (34-15) vs. Bruno Silva (22-7) (Middleweight)
