Bellator middleweight Michael Page will make an unexpected appearance at bare-knuckle boxing promotion BKFC’s August 20th event, facing UFC alum Mike Perry.
The fight was announced by BKFC on Thursday.
Page will be competing in front of a home crowd, as the fight is joining BKFC’s event at the OVO Arena Wembley in London, England.
Page is a veteran of MMA promotion Bellator. He has been a regular for them since 2014 and holds a strong promotional record of 16 wins and two losses.
He was unsuccessful in an attempt to claim their interim middleweight belt earlier this year, losing a close split decision to Logan Storley after five rounds.
Perry has been fighting under rare combat sports rules since departing the UFC roster last year. In November 2021, he faced Michael Seals in a rare “Triad Combat” event. Earlier this year, he won his BKFC debut against Julian Lane.
Perry scored seven wins through 15 fights in the UFC lightweight division.
